  1. Labor do quite well out of the boundaries in this area. Scoresby neatly locks up most of the better Liberal bits of Knox (Wantirna South, Rowville) and Monash (Wheelers Hill, eastern Glen Waverley) in one seat. While it gives the Libs a safe seat, it makes the neighbouring marginals of Mount Waverley, Forest Hill, Bayswater, and Ferntree Gully much better for Labor.

Not suprised Family First racks up a strong vote here, Wantirna South is the home of the evangelical CityLife Church, and is also apparently the suburb where Steve Fielding lives.

  2. Candidates in ballot paper order are:

    Garry Nightingale – Labor
    Salore Craig – Greens
    Kim Wells – Liberal
    Rachel Hanna – Family First
