Jo Lindgren is Neville Bonners Neice. She is from inala and has the background to be a good candidate, but will the electorate be able to get over their belief that labor is best for them when in reality the ALP just assume that downtrodden hardworkers will side with them?
Sorry james, but Labor could run a dead dog in Inala and they’d win easily.
Yes I have to agree with MDMConnell. You could put up coreflutes with the head of toad and the voters there would still vote for it, if it was running for the ALP.
There isnt much political thought in that district at all
Yet in the neighbouring electorate which is on an almost identical margin the LNP is running at 50/50. Perhaps Inala’s margin will come down simply because of some positive campaigns being run around it and the joint booths will benefit from this.
Agree however that at this point in time Inala is ‘in the bag’ for the ALP.
I believe Labor have had decades of opportunity to improve the lives of people in the Inala electorate but because it’s always been a safe Labor seat, no priority was given to improve the area. It seems that only when there is a chance of losing that things start happening. Instead of being reactive, they should have been proactive. Don’t be fooled by 5 minutes of gloss over decades of neglect. It’s time for a change and the only real change I can see is Katter’s Australian Party represented by Ashley Dodd.
My prediction: Labor retain
Labor retain.
Ashley Dodd is running a strong campaign there. He lives in the area and his children go to school there. The locals are fed up with the neglect and have had plenty to say on the matter. Dodd just may well be given the job to represent Inala.
Annastacia is from Inala and believes in it. She knows that children are the priority and invests in education. I’m green, but I believe greens preferences are well served here. Inala will be red for many years to come because labour invests in the future.
Well, Inala will be red for many years to come because (as said above) Labor could run a dead dog here and they’d win.
I’d hope for Labor’s sake that nobody’s getting delusions of grandeur by winning friggin INALA!!
Be like the Liberals getting excited about winning Vaucluse or Malvern or Moggill…..
