We are now less than five weeks away from the NSW local government elections.
This year I have profiled the 27 most populous local councils in New South Wales. This covers all councils with a population of 95,000 or more. I’ve added Tweed and Mid-Coast to the 25 councils I profiled in 2021.
Unfortunately elections for the City of Liverpool have been postponed, so only 26 of these councils will face the voters in September.
Nominations close later this week, and I am busy adding candidates daily.
The election guide was originally paywalled, but as of this morning I have unlocked the entire guide for everyone to read.
You can find the guide here. You can also use the map below to click through to individual councils, marked in red.
well done
Appears your guide is going to be missing Liberal candidates in many Councils, Ben
I see Leeton Shire has 10 candidates for 9 positions. That in person election has to be the biggest waste of resources.
