News has broken today that former Liberal prime minister Scott Morrison will be retiring from politics at the end of February, thus triggering a by-election for his seat of Cook.
There is a federal by-election for the seat of Dunkley due at the start of March, and a Queensland state by-election for the seat of Inala due in the middle of the month, but Morrison’s timing will push the Cook by-election into April or later.
I have published my guide to the Cook by-election which you can read here.
I now have eleven election guides published on this website: three by-elections, two state elections, two territory elections, a partial federal election guide, two council elections and a state upper house election.
