Even for a by-election, this one was unusual. I disagree with Peter. At the upcoming general election, 1000 strayed Liberal voters need to revert to what they have done their whole lives to change the outcome. Compared to the previous general election, 9,000 voters decided to do something else with their Saturday. Most would have been unmotivated Liberals. Dave Sharma will likely be member for Wentworth next year
