Much appreciated. Would rather not have to have dozens of tabs open from the NSWEC site.
I have posted to a Liberal apparatchik’s blog (and he hasn’t barred me) so this is a test, Ben.
In Canada Bay where I live, the Greens may lose their only spot (they had hoped for 2). In Ashfield, it looks as if all 3 are gone. Their retiring Mayor was a Greens, but he will be the last as gentrification does its inevitable thing…
Ashfield’s swing was -7%. Marrickville’s -7.2% and it may get its first Liberal in North Newtown. Then there’s Leichhardt. When Anna Bligh lost in Qld, it was called a “devastating, once-in-a-lifetime landslide” by everyone. Her swing was -13%. Rochelle Porteous has managed to get close to that, currently -11%
You probably weren’t talking demography at that party, but you should.
Ben, I was hoping that you would post some results from the local elections in NSW, especially for people interstate.
